Thanks for your comment! I would recommend the process, it's just starting to come out now after 2 months. I'm afraid I haven't taken exceptionally GREAT care of it, since I use whatever shampoo+conditioner I have around. I do make sure to spray on heat protection product before blow-drying to try and prevent crispy hair.

I love my straightened hair, it is so much more manageable and easy to style. There isn't any real growth on the top that's wavy again after 2 months, I have had to start flat-ironing it since it's grown out significantly just to maintain the style.

Yoshi himself was my stylist, there's really only him and his assistant there in the salon. It is a huge, huge help if you speak Japanese since their English is not particularly fluent, but he has the process and instructions down pat. I think they use their own formula, not liscio--I've heard some bad things about liscio straightening, but I'm sure you're doing your own research. One thing, Yo-C is pretty hard to find, the door is near to invisible on E. 5th...it's right next to another Japanese salon, the door just looks unmarked. Let me know if you try them, def.be prepared for hours and hours in the chair!!

I was googling Yo-C because I am considering getting my hair straightened there too. Its been about 2 months since you had your done. How do you like it now? Have you had any issues? Do you blow dry? Who was your stylist? Do you know if they used Liscio by melbon? Thanks! -- Jojo
